    <dct:description>&lt;p&gt;Os fertilizantes minerais para al&amp;eacute;m de apresentarem custos onerosos, quando mal empregues, podem ser agressivos aos solos e ao meio ambiente. Por este motivo, &amp;eacute; necess&amp;aacute;ria a avalia&amp;ccedil;&amp;atilde;o de outras fontes de nutrientes para as plantas. Para o efeito, foi instalado o experimento em condi&amp;ccedil;&amp;otilde;es de campo, com o objetivo de avaliar a efici&amp;ecirc;ncia dos adubos org&amp;acirc;nicos a base de guano de morcego e o organomineral, resultante da mistura do guano e do fertilizante complexo a base de nitrog&amp;ecirc;nio, fosforo e pot&amp;aacute;ssio (NPK), na f&amp;oacute;rmula-12-24-12, sobre o desenvolvimento e rendimento da cultura do milho (&lt;em&gt;Zea mays &lt;/em&gt;L.), submetidas em desenho experimental de blocos completos casualizados, com 4 tratamentos e 4 repeti&amp;ccedil;&amp;otilde;es. Os tratamentos foram, o adubo mineral (NPK, 12-24-12), o guano de morcego, o organomineral, e a testemunha. Os resultados mostram que o guano de morcego proporcionou maior incremento na altura da planta e n&amp;uacute;mero de gr&amp;atilde;os por espiga, enquanto que os maiores incrementos do di&amp;acirc;metro do caule, n&amp;uacute;mero de folhas, peso da espiga, peso dos gr&amp;atilde;os, assim como maior rendimento por &amp;aacute;rea, foram obtidos pelo organomineral. Estes resultados foram alcan&amp;ccedil;ados, apesar dos adubos org&amp;acirc;nicos apresentarem baixas concentra&amp;ccedil;&amp;otilde;es de NPK, quando complementados com aduba&amp;ccedil;&amp;atilde;o mineral, promovem efeitos positivos &amp;agrave;s plantas, uma vez que estas aproveitam melhor os nutrientes atrav&amp;eacute;s do sincronismo de libera&amp;ccedil;&amp;atilde;o ao longo do seu desenvolvimento. Concluiu-se que, os adubos org&amp;acirc;nicos e organominerais podem ser utilizados como alternativa sustent&amp;aacute;vel para o aumento dos rendimentos na cultura do milho em substitui&amp;ccedil;&amp;atilde;o dos adubos minerais.&lt;/p&gt;</dct:description>
