Presentations and recording from a joint AmeliCA/Canadian Research Knowledge Network/Coalition Publica/OpenAIRE webinar. Discussion about non-APC strategies, challenges and recommendations and a global collective action. Arianna Becerril-García (Executive Director, Redalyc, Professor, UAEM, Chair, AmeliCA) talks about AmeliCA - a multi-institutional community-driven initiative supported by UNESCO and led by Redalyc and CLACSO aimed to provide a cooperative, sustainable, protected and non-comercial infrastructure for Open Knowledge. Tanja Niemann (Executive Director, Érudit) and Jason Friedman (Manager, Member and Metadata Services, Canadian Research Knowledge Network) talk about Coalition Publica and the Partnership for Open Access: Canada's Cooperative Non APC Publishing Model. Jean-Claude Guédon discusses the current landscape, challenges, collaborations, "inside-out" libraries (Lorcan Dempsey's vocabulary), and provides recommendations about fostering a richer bibliodiversity and ensuring publication and access equality for all. And Iryna Kuchma presents the OpenAIRE report Towards Sustainable Cooperative and Non-APC Publishing Model: D6.2 – Best Practice Guide for Co-Operative Models of Publishing.

\nOpenAIRE-Advance - H2020 project consolidating and operating OpenAIRE services, making them EOSC compatible.
\nOpenAIRE-Connect - H2020 project outreaching its services to research communities and research infrastructures.
\nOpenAIRE2020 - H2020 project consolidating OA to FP7 publications, expanding to a full 100% mandate in H2020, and supporting the Open Research Data pilot of H2020.
OpenAIRE is a socio-technical infrastructure for scholarly communication and Open Science. For over ten years it has been supporting Open Science at national levels via its network of experts (National Open Access Desks – NOADs) who support policy development for Open Science within the research realm. At a technical level, OpenAIRE has developed a range of innovative services, powered by its Open Science Graph - a unique and vast body of knowledge, an interoperable dataset of research results that promotes discoverability and relationships between research artefacts.
\n\nOpenAIRE is a socio-technical infrastructure for scholarly communication and Open Science. For over ten years it has been supporting Open Science at national levels via its network of experts from key national organizations (National Open Access Desks – NOADs) who support policy development for Open Science within the research realm. Together they train and guide today and tomorrow’s researchers in the many aspects of Open Science.
\nAt a technical level, OpenAIRE has developed a range of innovative services, powered by its Open Science Graph - a unique and vast body of knowledge, an interoperable dataset of research results that promotes discoverability and relationships between research artefacts.
\n\n\nOpenAIRE has grown through a series of project phases funded by the European Commission: from the DRIVER projects to link Europe’s repository infrastructure, to the first OpenAIRE project aimed to assist the EC in implementing its initial pilot for Open Access (OA) to publications, and, through several further phases which have extended and consolidated the OpenAIRE mission to implement Open Science policies.
\n\nOpenAIRE’s ambitious plan for the future will enable the social and technical links to make Open Science a reality in Europe and beyond. It will ddress on one hand, key aspects and challenges of the currently transforming scholarly communication landscape and, on the other, will actively seek and promote new solutions in the realm of new technologies and expanding amounts of information that better suit the needs of Researchers, Innovators, the Public and Funding bodies.

\n\nOpenAIRE’s mission is closely linked to the mission of the European Commission: to provide unlimited, barrier free, open access to research outputs financed by public funding in Europe. OpenAIRE fulfils the EOSC vision substantially, as its operations already provide the glue for many of the user and research driven functionalities, whether these come from the long tail of science (repositories and local support) or domain disciplined research communities or Research Infrastructures
