Since 2019, the ANR has implemented Open Science requirements (Open Access and Data Management Plan) for projects funded under the 2019 and subsequent calls for projects. If the funded projects have obligations, the project leaders can anticipate them as early as the grant proposal writing phase.
It allows them to improve the feasibility of their project by identifying institutional services that can support them as well as the requested means to implement an ambitious Open Science strategy. Anticipating these aspects can also facilitate collaborations within teams and consortia so that Open Science is an opportunity rather than a constraint.
This document is a synthesis of the guide: Improving your ANR project thanks to Open Science, https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.3769971 It was produced by the Research Data working group of the GTSO-Couperin.
