    <description descriptionType="Abstract">&lt;p&gt;The lesson materials contain&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;ol&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;a shortened Latin text version of Cicero Ad Quintum fratrem I,1 prepared for intermediate learners (e.g. with vocabulary aids, introduction etc.)&lt;/li&gt;
	&lt;li&gt;and ten pages of explicit vocabulary exercises tailored for this text and a specific core vocabulary (the most frequent 500 words of the so-called Bamberger Grundwortschatz: &lt;a href="https://www.ccbuchner.de/reihe-9-9/adeo-53/"&gt;Adeo&lt;/a&gt;).&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ol&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The intervention study (pretest, lesson material, posttest) was conducted over a period of 4 to 6 weeks in two high-schools in Berlin, Germany (2018-2019).&lt;/p&gt;</description>
