- 2. ALGAL FOREST RESTORATION IN MEDITERRANEAN SEA IS AN EUROPEAN PROJECT ON THE RESTORATION OF THE DEGRADED MACROALGAL FOREST (Cystoseira).
Description
During the 1st Annual meeting, partners actively worked together in order to:
1. Report their activities and results from the 1st year of the project, in all workpackages (WPs)
2. Discuss important points to carry on the scientific experiments at laboratories facilities and at sea
3. Discuss the effects of restoration actions on ecosystem services of Cystoseira
4. Discuss the best ways and actions to involve the most relevant stakeholders
5. Discuss the best ways to disseminate the projects’ results to a wide public
All partners have interactively participated in all discussions, in order to carry on integrated work among partners and WPs. The discussions were held during 3 days of physical meetings at the Maison de l’Élu, in Marrakech (Morocco), from 17th to 19th February 2020. The Project Adviser (PA) from the EASME, Rocio Suarez Jimenez, has been also invited in order to have a collaborative discussion with a continuous bidirectional (i.e., from the PA to the Consortium and vice versa) feedback during the discussions.
All the details and outcomes of the discussions have been reported in the following sections.
