  "description": "<p><strong>(1) Introduction</strong></p>\n\n<p>WGBIS is the Bayesian geodetic inversion package that uses as observations, the interferometric wrapped phases.</p>\n\n<p>In WGBIS, earthquake and volcano source parameters are estimated directly from the interferometric wrapped phase, rather than the unwrapped phases, thus phase unwrapping errors are avoided. Using a Bayesian approach, WGBIS&nbsp;provides an assessment of the model uncertainty. Extensive testing shows that this method has the capability to escape local minima during the model inversion.</p>\n\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p><strong>(2) Novel aspects of the WGBIS method:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>A new method to model interferometric wrapped phase based on Bayesian inference.</li>\n\t<li>Wrapped observations are weighted by appropriate data covariance.</li>\n\t<li>An improved wrapped interferometic phase data downsampling algorithm.</li>\n\t<li>WGBIS further extends current state-of-the-art geodetic modelling of InSAR data to cases where phase unwrapping is difficult or impossible.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p><strong>(3) References</strong></p>\n\n<p>WGBIS is described and applied in a manuscript written by Yu Jiang and Pablo J.
