Description

The paper summarizes the history of research of fish communities in the Lipno reservoir. In recent years, these surveys have been motivated in particular by the fluctuations in catches of sport fishermen, which need to be explained, or predicted for the future. The paper shows the gradual formation of a comprehensive survey of fish communities and maps the strengths and weaknesses of the surveys. It briefly summarizes the current state of fish stock and development trends.
