    <description descriptionType="Abstract">&lt;p&gt;We made an interactive web application with the R packages &lt;em&gt;shiny&lt;/em&gt;&amp;nbsp;and &lt;em&gt;socialmixr&lt;/em&gt;&amp;nbsp;to access and visualise social contact data from the social contact data sharing initiative (&lt;a href="http://www.socialcontactdata.org"&gt;www.socialcontactdata.org&lt;/a&gt;).&amp;nbsp;The User Inferface (UI) enables the selection of a country, age categories, type of day, contact duration, intensity and gender. Based on this&amp;nbsp;selection, a&amp;nbsp;social contact matrix is plotted and&amp;nbsp;principal results of the social contact analysis are printed, such as the&amp;nbsp;relative incidence.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;We included&amp;nbsp;reactive strategies such as school closure and&amp;nbsp;telework to analyse the impact on the relative incidence and R0.&amp;nbsp;All results can be downloaded as RData&amp;nbsp;file.&amp;nbsp;Note that we will continue to develop this tool so&amp;nbsp;the output/plots/scenarios might change in future editions.&lt;/p&gt;
