"Groups of Death" in Ukraine: their Essence and Prospects of Prevention

This article defines the concept and essence of the "groups of death", as well as the main perspectives of the struggle with their development and distribution. Development and distribution of "groups of death" are analysed, their basic kinds and varieties are characterized. Basic directions are certain in the field of a fight against the "groups of death", sound conclusions that have both theoretical and practical value are done. This article is aimed at a thorough study of the activities of "death groups", determining their nature and main varieties. 

The "group of death" are a community that spread through social networks and various ways to interest and stimulate young children and teenagers to join and to make contact. The whole process is carried out in the form of games, which usually consists of fifty tasks. The main types of "groups of death" are: "the Blue whale", "Red owl", "Dog rush", "Run or die", "Sniches 24 hours", "Pink fairy" and others.

The "group of death" appeared in Ukraine recently, but their activity has led to many cases of suicide among teenagers. As we learn from the media, the "group of death" originate from Russia, so they quickly spread in Ukraine. The "group of death" are fairly common and represent a real challenge that requires immediate intervention and solutions. The danger of "group of death" lies in the fact that they are distributed and operate in the network, i.e. they are able to spread with lightning speed, which complicates the process of fighting with them.

In order to provide a comprehensive struggle and opposition to the development and spread of "groups of death", it is necessary to conduct a number of activities at the state level with the participation of leading specialists and experts. Also very appropriate and the use of foreign experience in solution of this problem.

We propose to hold a series of events that would ensure a comprehensive struggle and opposition "groups of death". First of all, it is necessary to improve the existing regulatory framework, approved at the level of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Program for the prevention of the spread and prevention "groups of death", which clearly prescribe what bodies will be involved and what activities they should conduct.
