La cuestión de la división del trabajo en Algo sobre la primera sociedad humana según el hilo conductor de los escritos de Moisés
Creators
Description
This article focuses upon the division of labour issue departing from a secondary essay writ- ten by Schiller in 1789: Etwas über die erste Men- schengesellschaft nach dem Leitfaden der mosaischen Urkunde. Despite that Schiller fully develops his conception on the division of labour in his Briefe über die ästhetische Erziehung des Menschen (1795), this essay entails an early approach to the problem specifically related to the ideas of the development of reason and human destination in both the context of the opposition between human individual facul- ties and the parallel conflict between individuals and socio-political organization. Schiller’s historical and theoretical approach to this problem allows its in- terpretation from the more contemporary perspec- tive of the emergence of the repressed individual and the repressive society, as it was developed by Sigmund Freud and, subsequently, amended and broadened by Herbert Marcuse from a materialistic point of view.
