Co- and early postseismic deformation due to the 2019 Ridgecrest earthquake sequence constrained by Sentinel-1 and COSMO-SkyMed SAR data

  • 1. University of California, Berkeley

Description

This zip file contains coseismic surface displacements due to the 2019 Ridgecrest earthquakes derived from Sentinel-1 and COSMO-SkyMed (CSK) SAR data. The line-of-sight (LOS) displacements and pixel tracking results of both satellites are provided in high-resolution grid files (NetCDF and GeoTiff) and the downsampled ASCII files.

los_disp_ll.grd/los_disp_ll.tiff  ---- LOS displacements in NetCDF or GeoTiff formats

los_downsample.txt ---- downsampled LOS displacement in ASCII file format.

azo_ll.grd/azo_ll.tiff  ---  Azimuth displacement derived from the pixel tracking of CSK data in NetCDF or GeoTiff formats

los_downsample.txt  --- downsampled azimuth displacement in ASCII file format

The 4-6 columns of the downsample data describe the unit vectors (ve, vn, vz) of line-of-sights and the azimuth directions of the satellites' paths, so that

LOS/Azimuthal displacements = Ue*ve+Un*vn+ Up*vz
