  "description": "<p>Cloud environments provide elastic capacity and</p>\n\n<p>flexible pay-as-you-go business model, and can significantly</p>\n\n<p>reduce the operational cost for resource-intensive applications</p>\n\n<p>like big data, deep learning and the Internet of Things (IoT).</p>\n\n<p>The virtual infrastructure, including networked virtual machines,</p>\n\n<p>for large scale applications, is often distributed, and involve</p>\n\n<p>resources not only from data centers, but also distributed Fog</p>\n\n<p>and Edge nodes. It is not always feasible to use resources all</p>\n\n<p>from a single provider. The provisioning of a complex virtual</p>\n\n<p>infrastructure requires dynamic partitioning of the topology</p>\n\n<p>and seamless configuration of the network, to meet the latency</p>\n\n<p>constraints of geolocation devices, to optimize the price and</p>\n\n<p>Service Level Agreements of the application. In many cases,</p>\n\n<p>the partition solution of a virtual infrastructure cannot be done</p>\n\n<p>in the design phase and has to consider the actual resource</p>\n\n<p>availability of providers at the provisioning stage. This paper</p>\n\n<p>presents a virtual infrastructure partitioning and provisioning</p>\n\n<p>solution with consideration of the QoS and resource constraints</p>\n\n<p>from the application.</p>",
