Open for Nature – the Museum library as an essential and supporting infrastructure for Open Access

The poster presents the Open Access development at the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin and the role of the library in this process. The three journals published by the museum were successfully transferred to Open Access journals in 2014. Since 2017 the Coordination Office for Scientific Publishing offers support for all questions concerning the scientific publication process and Open Access publications in particular. All efforts in recent years have been crowned by the newly adopted open access policy in 2019.
