Moralità, mondo e unità del sistema. L’influenza wolffiana nella mediazione tra filosofia teoretica e filosofia pratica
Creators
Description
This paper examines the relation between
ethics and world in Kant in connection to his abandoning
of Wolff’s philosophy. In particular, it focuses
on those elements of the Critique of the Power of
Jugdment, especially the Erste Einleitung, which outline
an idea of a system and mediation between nature
and freedom, against the Wolffian perspective.
From this standpoint, particular attention is paid to
the transcendental definitions of Einheit and Grund,
which deviate from the Wolffian notion of vis representativa.
Finally it investigates Kant’s rejection of
Wolff relation between system and method: in the
former it is the system that grounds the universal
method, while in the latter is the opposite.
