This data set (in two parts, see also DOI 10.5281/zenodo.3377011) contains 7 audio files and 51 video files of the interviews held with the last two known Kusunda speakers from Nepal, Gyani Maiya Sen Kusunda and Kamala Khatri (Sen Kusunda), on July 30th 2019, in Kathmandu, Nepal.

As per our knowledge, these are the first recordings of Kusunda that are available in the public domain. The recordings constitute mainly wordlist elicitation files, but there is also an origin story and a discussion on endo- and exonyms.

The metadata of speakers and recordings can be found in the pdf file.
