{ "description": "
The Open Trace Format Version 2 (OTF2) is a highly scalable, memory efficient event trace data format plus support library. It is the standard trace format for Scalasca, Vampir, and Tau and is open for other tools.
\n\n
OTF2 is available under the 3-clause BSD Open Source license.
\n\n
OTF2 is the common successor format for the Open Trace Format (OTF) and the Epilog trace format. It preserves the essential features as well as most record types of both and introduces new features such as support for multiple read/write substrates, in-place time stamp manipulation, and on-the-fly token translation. In particular, it will avoid copying during unification of parallel event streams.
\n\n
Version 2.2 comes with following changes:
\n\n
\n\t
\n\t
Added a definition record to attach a parameter to a callpath.
\n\t
\n\t
\n\t
Removed the restriction that AttributeLists can only have at most 1024 entries. If the list does not fit into the chunk, the write routines return OTF2_ERROR_INVALID_SIZE_GIVEN.
\n\t
\n\t
\n\t
Reduce loss of precision when interpolating timestamps.
\n\t
\n\t
\n\t
Native build support for LLVM/Clang compiler.
\n\t
\n
", "license": "https://opensource.org/licenses/BSD-3-Clause", "creator": [ { "@type": "Person", "name": "OTF2 developer community" } ], "url": "https://zenodo.org/record/3356709", "datePublished": "2019-07-31", "version": "2.2", "keywords": [ "OTF2", "Event trace" ], "@context": "https://schema.org/", "identifier": "https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.3356709", "@id": "https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.3356709", "@type": "SoftwareSourceCode", "name": "Open Trace Format Version 2 (OTF2)" }
