FINAL (JAN 2011) WIGGLEZ DATA FILES Data is given for 6 WiggleZ regions (01, 03, 09, 11, 15, 22 hrs) in 3 different overlapping redshift slices (z=0.2-0.6, 0.4-0.8, 0.6-1.0), matching the datasets analyzed in the final WiggleZ baryon acoustic peak paper Blake et al. (2011, MNRAS, 418, 1707). For each sub-region the following files are given: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ reg**data.dat - data in the following format: N, 2 [meaning contains N galaxies, header is 2 lines long] For each galaxy the following columns are listed: R.A.(deg), Dec.(deg), redshift, r-mag, ijack, weight ijack = jack-knife region based on dividing galaxies by (x,y,z) positions into equal-volume 3D regions of the sky where the side-length of each region is ~150 Mpc/h weight = FKP weight 1/[1 + n(x)*P_0] where n(x) is the local number density determined from the selection function and P_0 = 5000 (Mpc/h)^3 is the fiducial power spectrum amplitude ------------------------------------------------------------------------ reg**rand***.dat - 10 random catalogues in the following format: N, 2 [meaning contains N galaxies, header is 2 lines long] For each random source the same columns as above are listed Each of the random catalogues will usually contain the same number of sources as the data. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ wigglez_ic.dat - integral constraint correction which should be added to the measured correlation function, format of the file is: Region [hr], zmin, zmax, integral constraint delta-xi ------------------------------------------------------------------------ xi_**hr*.dat - correlation function measurement and covariance matrix for each sub-region. Format of the file: 1st line: nbin, ngalaxy nbin lines: mean separation [Mpc/h], xi(s), sqrt[Cov(i,i)] nbin x nbin lines: i, j, Cov(i,j) The covariance matrix is from lognormal realizations, not jack-knife regions. xi_combined*.dat - correlation function measurement for each redshift range combining the measurements in each sub-region, in the same format as above. ------------------------------------------------------------------------
