The present investigation arises from the context of the Unidad Educativa Santa Marianita de Borrero. The main purpose is to establish a learning environment mediated by ICT for the teaching of Social Sciences in the eighth year of Basic General Education. The methodology of this project is qualitative-quantitative, as techniques were used such as: participant observation during the academic days, semi-structured surveys to teachers and students, the documentary analysis of school files and a guide to classroom observation. The results obtained from the techniques used confirm the need to incorporate technological and virtual resources in the teaching-learning processes of the Social Sciences area.
