Data from a study looking at differences in efficiency between three kinds of Robinson type light traps for catching moths. These data are the following: 1. Counts of moths of different families from three different trap types across six trapping nights. 2. Species level counts for the subset of the above defined as macromoths. 3. 300-850nm electromagnetic spectra of all three traps made using a UV/visible spectrometer. 4. Weather data for the trapping period provided by the staff of Juniper Hall field centre.
