Long-term archiving workflow in CMIP5 - a first review

The talk gives a review of the long-term archival of CMIP5 (Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 5) data and the transition into the IPCC Data Distribution Centre (IPCC DDC), including the data workflow from ESGF (Earth System Grid Federation) data publication to DataCite DOI publication and transfer into the IPCC DDC AR5, the encountered problems and the requirements for CMIP6.
