Description

FIGURE 8. One of the 2 optimal cophylogenetic scenarios between the pterygosomatid genera and their hosts' tree from Jane 4.0 (2 cospeciation, 4 duplication, 5 duplication with host switches, 1 loss, and 0 failure to diverge events; total cost= 15). Black and grey lines represent hosts and their mites, respectively; the numbers below the nodes are support values (i.e. the percentages of solutions in which a specific event of the parasite trees is mapped to a given location on the host tree).
