The combined use of Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) and robotic technologies is strongly advocated to improve&nbsp;<a href="https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/medicine-and-dentistry/rehabilitation-engineering">rehabilitation</a>&nbsp;outcomes after stroke.
