The system was developed within the European project</p>\n\n<p>RETRAINER and consists of a passive exoskeleton for weight</p>\n\n<p>relief combined with an arm EMG-triggered neuroprosthesis.</p>\n\n<p>Up to now, 39 patients completed the 9-week intervention:</p>\n\n<p>patients in the experimental group achieved a significantly</p>\n\n<p>better effect in the motoric outcome measures with respect to</p>\n\n<p>control subjects receiving only conventional therapy. These</p>\n\n<p>promising results need to be confirmed on a larger sample.</p>",
