XCT derived strengths were anticipated from the XCT data<br>\nand compared to experimental measurement. A good agreement between XCT data, bending<br>\nstrength measurement and fractographic analysis demonstrates the suitability of X-ray<br>\ntomography for both defects detection and predictive mechanical strength estimation.
