<dc:description>This report provides an overview of the project management tasks completed by months 4 of the IMI2 JU FAIRplus project, including: delivery of the project website; a governance structure including a mobilised Managing Board, Scientific and Industry Advisory Board, Ethics Advisory Board, Associated Partner Working Group and project ‘Squad’ teams; Communication Assets including project logos, a social media channel, brand guidelines, and template documentation; and finally, project guidelines including the first draft of the Project Handbook, and the Communication Toolkit.

The FAIRplus project is developing tools and guidelines for making life science data Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable (FAIR). The goal of FAIRplus is to deliver guidelines and tools to facilitate the application of ‘FAIR’ principles to data from Innovative Medicines Initiative projects and datasets from pharmaceutical companies, which will result in increased discoverability, accessibility and reusability of the data. The increased FAIRness of data will in turn lead to a wider sharing of knowledge, greater opportunities for innovation, and more insights that benefit society.

The project has 22 partners from academia and industry, and runs from January 2019 to June 2022. More information: https://fairplus-project.eu/

This project has received funding from the Innovative Medicines Initiative 2 Joint Undertaking under grant agreement No. 802750. This Joint Undertaking receives support from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation and EFPIA companies.</dc:description>
