    <description descriptionType="Abstract">&lt;p&gt;In this presentation I provide a look ahead at the next Gaia data releases, Gaia EDR3, scheduled for Q3 2020, and Gaia DR3, scheduled for the second half of 2021. I describe the data products that can be expected, preliminary source numbers, and emphasize the new elements in both releases.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The second part of the talk looks ahead further at Gaia DR4 and the extended Gaia mission.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
