    <description descriptionType="Abstract">&lt;p&gt;A new salticid spider species &lt;em&gt;Uroballus carlei &lt;/em&gt;n. sp. (♂) from Hong Kong is dia&amp;shy;gnosed, described and illustrated. The species is unusual for the jumping spiders in its striking resemblance to lichen moth larvae. A brief discussion of the putative caterpillar-mimicry in some &lt;em&gt;Uroballus&lt;/em&gt; species is provided as well.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
    <description descriptionType="Other">Диагностирован, описан и иллюстрирован новый вид пауков-сальтицид Uroballus carlei n. sp. (♂) из Гонконга. Внешним видом этот паук сильно напоминает личинок лишайниц, что необычно для пауков-скакунчиков. Также дается краткое обсуждение предполагаемой мимикрии некоторых видов Uroballus с гусеницами.</description>
