FIGURE 4 in Channa auroflammea, a new species of snakehead fish of the Marulius group from the Mekong River in Laos and Cambodia (Teleostei: Channidae)
Description
FIGURE 4. Comparison of ranges of key meristic counts among four members of the Marulius group. Thin bars indicate counts from aberrant specimens included in ranges. Note that counts for C. auroflammea are generally lower than those for its genetically and geographically closest species, C. aurolineata. Map illustrates known and/or expected geographical distributions for each species, from west to east: C. pseudomarulius, C. marulius, C. aurolineata, and C. auroflammea.
