BDS as an analytical tool for the analysis of polyethers with different architectures
This is a poster presented at the "10th Conference on Broadband Dielectric Spectroscopy and its Applications". These are the highlights:
- We worked with the material regio-regular (RR) poly(glycidyl phenyl ether) (PGPE). This is a polyether with pendant methoxyphenyl groups with dipole moments aligned along the chain.
- The dielectric normal mode relaxation ( related to the whole chain motion) was used to verify cyclization reactions.
- We presented BDS as tool to study formation of linear PGPE chains containing two symmetric arms with net dipole moments pointing in opposite directions
