Para ello, estudiamos la presencia en&nbsp;plataformas de los art&iacute;culos publicados por las revistas de Comunicaci&oacute;n de Journal&nbsp;Citation Reports of the Web of Science para el quinquenio 2013-2017 en la plataforma&nbsp;Altmetric.com. Los resultados muestran c&oacute;mo s&oacute;lo unas pocas plataformas tienen una<br> cobertura significativa para el estudio del conjunto y en el caso de Mendeley y Twitter,&nbsp;la cobertura es superior a las citas ofrecidas por Web of Science. Existe una relaci&oacute;n&nbsp;comprobada entre las citas y su aparici&oacute;n en los medios y plataformas sociales, y su&nbsp;intensidad var&iacute;a seg&uacute;n el producto.
