"Bo owoce to mus" – o języku reklamy w szkole

Description

The article raise a problem of advertising presence in Polish language lessons.
Currently as a principle, pupils are familiarized with contemporary advertising at
school. The authors of the article suggest the use of advertisements from the interwar
period and discuss it from the perspective of three selected aspects: a) the
relationship between the word and the advertising image, b) linguistic resources
with a persuasive function, c) ways of using the authority theme. The theoretical
considerations on the three selected aspects were accompanied by the so called
didactic proposals. Selected advertising material is useful not only for individual
language exercises, but it can also become an inspiration to create whole units of
lessons.
