Exploring JoREP 2.0: features and potential uses in the studies on Europeanisation of research activities

Description

The course aims at introducing JoREP 2.0 database, presenting the new features, highlighting the specific contents and framing its potential uses in the context of the theoretical background on which has been designed. It will also train to address research questions on joint programming within the ERA using the infrastructure.

JoREP 2.0 database is a unique data archive which allows monitoring the modes of relationship, the functions performed and the amounts allocated by the actors involved in the European Research Area (ERA). The facility offers a large and updated data collection performed for 32 countries until 2014 and opportunity to perform a broader range of analyses compared to the previous release (e.g. spatial or network analyses). The course aims at introducing this renovated research resource, presenting the new features, highlighting the specific contents and framing its potential uses in the context of the theoretical background on which have been designed.
