{ "description": "<p>The NEPHELE network is divided into pods of racks and relies on hybrid electro-optical top-of rack switches that access an all-optical network. To enable dynamic and efficient sharing of the optical resources and a collision-free network operation, the NEPHELE network is envisioned to be operated in a slotted TDMA manner with a software-defined-network (SDN) based control plane. We describe the NEPHELE resource allocation problem and present a number of algorithmic solutions suitable to tackle different traffic scenarios.</p>", "license": "http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/legalcode", "creator": [ { "affiliation": "National Technical University of Athens, University of Patras, University of Peloponnese, Greece", "@type": "Person", "name": "K.
