Description

This dataset contains TLS handshakes collected from Android devices running the privacy-enhancing app called Lumen between 2015 and 2017. It was used to conduct the first study of TLS usage in Android apps at scale, in a paper titled "Studying TLS Usage in Android Apps" published at ACM International Conference on emerging Networking EXperiments and Technologies (CoNEXT) 2017.

It contains anonymized TLS handshake messages (Client Hello, Server Hello), server certificate chains, and general device information and default TLS settings where available.
