The distributions were obtained by laser diffraction.</p> <p><strong>Method</strong></p> <p>The PSDs were measured using a LA-950V2 (HORIBA) laser granulometer.</p> <p>All the samples were pre-treated with hydrogen peroxide to remove organic matter.
