"abstract": "<p>Proteopedia is a website with similar approach to well known sites like Wikipedia, but with a strong scientific focus towards structural biology. Its contents are a combination of automatic retrieval from databases and content contributed by users. In addition, the characteristics of a wiki are supplemented with the edition of interactive three-dimensional models of molecular structure, which are embedded into the page of each article that makes the wiki. The subheading, Life in 3D, highlights this directive. The other, descriptive, subtitle outlines the philosophy of the site: The free, collaborative 3D-encyclopedia of proteins and other molecules.</p>",
