  "abstract": "<p>This presentation\u00a0covers an introduction to the Controlled Vocabularies, explain\u00a0all about the COAR\u00a0Controlled Vocabularies\u00a0Interest Group, its activities and future plans as well as release of v1.1.\u00a0Resource Types vocabularies.\u00a0</p>\n\n<p>COAR, the Confederation of Open access repositories is an international association with over 100\u00a0members and partners all around the world, representing libraries, research institutions, funders and others. COAR aims to bring repository community and networks together for capacity building, policy and practise alignment as a global voice. Controlled vocabularies are an important aspect of interoperability which is the one of the key issues that COAR values a lot.\u00a0Controlled vocabularies enable discovery, share and reuse of the content by providing standardized terminology in repositories.\u00a0</p>\n\n<p>The recording is available at between 00-30 minutes.</p>",
