&lt;p&gt;The R-package &lt;em&gt;brook90r &lt;/em&gt;features most of the functionality of the original MS Access-UI of LWF-Brook90. Everything works as intended and is fully documented.&lt;br&gt;
The central function of the package writes input files from model control options, parameters, soil and climate data, starts the external model code LWF-BROOK90 and returns its output files. Additionally, submodels for defining vegetation dynamics and pedotransfer functions for deriving soil hydraulic parameters are provided.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
