    <description descriptionType="Abstract">&lt;p&gt;The &amp;ldquo;ABC da Sa&amp;uacute;de-Ensino secund&amp;aacute;rio&amp;rdquo; is a 32-page coloured book written in Portuguese by teachers of the Nutrition Course of the Faculty of Health Sciences of L&amp;uacute;rio University and illustrated by the Mozambican artist Justino Ant&amp;oacute;nio Cardoso. It has been produced thanks to the voluntary support also of professional graphic artists to be freely distributed to children of secondary schools and during nutritional campaigns in fairs or specific actions made by the Faculty of Health Sciences in the villages in Mozambique, and can be used anywhere the school language is Portuguese. This book teaches people to eat healthily in order to avoid obesity (a real plague of our time) and/or nutritional deficiencies by valuing the vitamin intake of fruits, vegetables and other foods consumed and available in the country. It teaches also respect for the environment and how to protect themselves from some diseases by simple actions or hygiene rules.&lt;/p&gt;


&lt;p&gt;O &amp;ldquo;ABC da Sa&amp;uacute;de-Ensino secund&amp;aacute;rio&amp;rdquo; &amp;eacute; um livro colorido de 32 p&amp;aacute;ginas, em portugu&amp;ecirc;s escrito por docentes do Curso de Nutri&amp;ccedil;&amp;atilde;o da Faculdade de Ci&amp;ecirc;ncias da Sa&amp;uacute;de da Universidade L&amp;uacute;rio e com desenhos do artista mo&amp;ccedil;ambicano Justino Ant&amp;oacute;nio. Foi produzido, tamb&amp;eacute;m, gra&amp;ccedil;as ao apoio volunt&amp;aacute;rio de gr&amp;aacute;ficos profissionais, para ser distribu&amp;iacute;do gratuitamente a crian&amp;ccedil;as de escolas secund&amp;aacute;rias e durante as campanhas de nutri&amp;ccedil;&amp;atilde;o, em feiras ou ac&amp;ccedil;&amp;otilde;es espec&amp;iacute;ficas realizadas pela Faculdade de Ci&amp;ecirc;ncias de Sa&amp;uacute;de da Universidade L&amp;uacute;rio, nas aldeias em Mo&amp;ccedil;ambique, e pode ser usado em qualquer parte onde a l&amp;iacute;ngua da escola &amp;eacute; o portugu&amp;ecirc;s. O livro ensina as pessoas a comer de forma saud&amp;aacute;vel para evitar a obesidade (verdadeira praga do nosso tempo) e a evitar defici&amp;ecirc;ncias nutricionais, valorizando a ingest&amp;atilde;o de vitamina de frutas, verduras e outros alimentos consumidos e dispon&amp;iacute;veis no pa&amp;iacute;s. Ensina, tamb&amp;eacute;m, o respeito pelo meio ambiente e como se proteger de certas doen&amp;ccedil;as por ac&amp;ccedil;&amp;otilde;es simples ou regras de higiene.&lt;/p&gt;
