Joint Allocation of IT and Connectivity Resources for Survivable Services in Geographically Distributed Metro Data Centers

The paper proposes a survivable and programmable metro-scale converged inter- and intra-datacenter network architecture and exploits its unique features for allocating jointly IT and connectivity resources. The proposed dynamic provisioning strategy offers a substantial reduction of service request blocking.
