Examples are on-board entertainment, real-time schedules and tools to plan&nbsp; trips using intermodal transports. While these developments bring many advantages for the industry and its users, they also present new opportunities for cyber-criminals and terrorists.<br>\nCybersecurity in the railway sector (CYRail) is a project within Shift2Rail. The CYRail project is identifying not only the IT security risks, but also appropriate methods for addressing them, including specifications and recommendations for secure modern rail systems design and operation.
