Designing Pervasive Systems for Society

We present a framework we have developed for use in the design of pervasive systems. This framework addresses social issues raised by the design of truly pervasive systems for public use. We also discuss a number of issues we believe are important in designing such systems, along with our proposed approach to addressing these issues.
