This dataset includes 15 excerpts of the Eroica (Symphony No. 3, Beethoven), played by Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and recorded in the context of the PHENICX EU project, and audio descriptors from the excerpts obtained using the Essentia library.
\n\nThis material has been used for studying the interrelation between listener characteristics and the perception of emotion in classical music.
\n\nRoyal Concertgebouw Orchestra has given their explicit approval for this dataset to be made public.
