&lt;li&gt;&lt;code&gt;ComputeAnnularMode()&lt;/code&gt; now deals with both hemispheres - either explicitly with &lt;code&gt;hemi&lt;/code&gt; or implicitly by looking at the sign of latitude inputs&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;code&gt;eof()&lt;/code&gt; can now be calculated based on removing the mean (&lt;code&gt;detrend='constant'&lt;/code&gt;) or a linear trend (&lt;code&gt;detrend='linear'&lt;/code&gt;).&lt;/li&gt;
