    <dct:description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Abstract:&lt;/strong&gt; l&amp;rsquo;obiettivo di questa ricerca &amp;egrave; quella di interpretare e comprendere, utilizzando una metodologia ermeneutica e qualitativa, il modo in cui si costruisce l&amp;rsquo;identit&amp;agrave; degli atleti a partire dalle loro storie di vita. Lo studio &amp;egrave; basato sul racconto dell&amp;rsquo;esperienza di un atleta olimpico italiano che sta seguendo un percorso di &lt;em&gt;dual&lt;/em&gt; e &lt;em&gt;post career&lt;/em&gt; in una universit&amp;agrave; italiana. La ricerca mette in evidenza le difficolt&amp;agrave; e la complessit&amp;agrave; di tale percorso, sottolineando tuttavia il ruolo fondamentale giocato dalla formazione nella soluzione delle crisi e dei conflitti di identit&amp;agrave; che un atleta olimpico pu&amp;ograve; incontrare nella sua vita.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Abstract:&lt;/strong&gt; The main goal of this research is to interpret and understand, utilizing a hermeneutic and qualitative methodology, how athletes&amp;rsquo; identity is built up and constructed through their life stories. The study is based on the story and experience of an Italian Olympic athlete who is following a bachelor&amp;rsquo;s degree course addressed to dual and post-career student athletes in an Italian University. The research highlights the difficulties and complexity of such a path, but it also stresses the fundamental role played by education and learning in the resolution of crisis situations and identity conflicts that an Olympic athlete can encounter in her/his life.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Parole chiave:&lt;/strong&gt; dual-career, educazione, pedagogia, sport, storie di vita&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Keywords: &lt;/strong&gt;dual career, education, life story, pedagogy, sport&lt;/p&gt;</dct:description>
