Advancing science through incentivizing collaboration, not competition

Here I highlight some of the current challenges for communication and attribution of scientific achievements relying on a centralized publisher controlled system. I propose to establish decentralized, trusted platforms for the dissemination of scientific information and attribution, which will lead to a more rapid pace of innovation.
