Open Access levels of Dutch universities 2010-2017
Description
This small dataset contains csv data on the number of articles+reviews published by authors affiliated to Dutch Universities, 2010-2017, according to the Web of Science database, measured on 20171220. It also indicates the number of open access articles+reviews among those and the resulting percentages.
Notes
Open access status information was added to the Web of Science database in december 2017 and this is a first attempt to make these useful. It must be noted that open access status data in WoS probably lag (a few months?) behind capturing the article data themselves. That probably explains falling levels in 2017 that are thus an artefact of the data colection and not a representation of real developments.
