Description

This sample dataset for the TXM text analysis tool contains 14 French novels of the second half of the 19th century, written by Gustave Flaubert, Guy de Maupassant and Émile Zola.

The following works are included: Flaubert: Madame Bovary, Bouvard et Pécuchet, L'Éducation sentimentale, Sallambo. Maupassant: Pierre et Jean, Une Vie, Bel-Ami, Fort comme la mort, Mont-Oriol; Zola: Germinal, La bête humaine, L'oeuvre, Nana.

The dataset has been prepared for use with the TXM text analysis tool. It is in a binary format which can be directly used (only) with TXM. The texts have been lemmatized and POS-tagged using TreeTagger.  All texts used are in the public domain.
