Description
This deposit contains materials for the Jekyll-based static site for The Programming Historian. The Programming Historian publishes novice-friendly, peer-reviewed tutorials that help humanists learn a wide range of digital tools, techniques, and workflows to facilitate research and teaching. We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive community of editors, writers, and readers.
At the time of deposit, The Programming Historians hosts 67 lessons. To date in 2017 we published 11 new lessons and retired 3 existing lessons. 28 lessons were translated into Spanish.
This deposit provides a citation for the project as it stands in November 2017. It is not intended to replace the Programming Historian website. This deposit supersedes the 2016 deposit (see 'Previous versions' for more info).
