Ecology. Shelf species found at depths between 126 (Peña Cantero 2008) and 440 m (Peña Cantero et al. 1997), on muddy bottoms (Peña Cantero et al. 1997). Epibiotic on hydrorhizal stolons of Schizotricha turqueti (Peña Cantero 2008). Gonothecae: February (Peña Cantero et al. 1997).
Distribution. West Antarctic (Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2004), known from the Weddell Sea (Peña Cantero et al. 1997; Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2004) and the South Shetland Islands (Peña Cantero 2008).
